Your First Visit to Kinesis Health Associates’ Chiropractic
Patients often remark how “welcoming” and “comfortable” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. So make yourself at home and welcome to our clinic!
Our new patient forms can be downloaded and completed in the convenience of your own home.
You’ll be greeted warmly when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our state of the art facilities.
If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, after doing so you’ll meet one of the doctors or practitioners.
For your first visit you should allow yourself approximately 80 minutes. This allows us adequate time to understand your presenting complaint and complete a thorough assessment.
For those seeking services from members of our Health Team other than chiropractic, you may book directly with your preferred practitioner. We do recommend that you have an initial consultation with Dr. Ellefsen first to help direct you to the most appropriate practitioner to address your needs.
We Explain Everything First
The purpose of your consultation is to discuss your health goals and see how our health team can help you. A thorough examination will follow and can help identify the cause of your problem. A portion of your examination will involve the use of advanced diagnostic tools including the Insight Millenium spinal scan, TOG Gait Scan, and Posture ProV.
If after the consultation and examination, x-rays are deemed to be clinically necessary we will refer you to the x-ray department of your local hospital to have your imaging completed.
From there, if appropriate, your care will begin immediately.
